The West Virginia Mud Racing Association (WVMRA),
Gator Hole Mud Racing, Gap Mills Community Center, nor the webmaster of this
site has no express or implied warranty of safety resulting from the publication of, or compliance with these class rules. They are intended as
a guideline only for conduct of the sport and are in no way a
guarantee against injury or death to spectators or participants. Participants
and spectators are expected to be aware of the inherent hazards of
Mud Racing competition and are expected to exercise good safety precautions and
procedures at all times.

Protest Fee: $150.00 per item in whatever class it pertains
to.
1. If a protest occurs the competitor who is protesting must put up
$150.00 2. If the protested competitor is found legal, they will receive $100.00; the
track will receive $50. 3. If the protested competitor is found illegal the protester will get $100.00
of his/hers money back, the track will receive $50.
Protest Fee for Cubic Inch: $250.00
1. If a protest occurs the competitor who is protesting must put up
$250.00 2. If the protested competitor is found
legal, they will receive $150.00; the track will receive $100
3. If the protested competitor is found illegal the protester will get
$150.00 of his/hers money back, the track will receive $100
4. If Cubic Inch is protested the competitor being protested has the right
to decide when his vehicle will be inspected, but it must be done before they
will receive any money or points for that race
Format for Protesting
1. A protest sheet must completed and state which item of the competitor's
vehicle you are protesting 2. The protest sheet
plus the protest fee must be given to a Track Official within 10 minuets after
the end of that class. After 10 minutes the competitor's vehicle may not
be protested for the rules in that class.
ALL decisions made by the track officials will be final. Please keep in mind
that without their personal involvement there would not be a race for you to
compete.
